Deposit and payment schedule

Split a bigger job into a deposit, progress payments and a final payment, each with a date and an amount. Send it with the quote so nobody is surprised.

How it is split
Schedule

Edit any label, percentage or date. Amounts are rounded to the cent and the last payment takes up any rounding.

Deposit terms and payment wording to go with this: The Paperwork and Payment Set, $12.99.

Why split it. On a long job you should never be owed more than you could afford to lose. A deposit covers materials and your booked time, progress payments keep you ahead of the work, and holding back a smaller final share gives the client confidence without leaving you exposed.
